Co-op Experience
Alloy Enterprises - Burlington, MA
Mechanical Engineering Co-op
Upgraded copper cutting laser's assist gas and chiller systems by specifying pressure-rated fittings, valves, sensors, and regulators; performed pressure-drop calculations and assembled final systems
Led redesign of heavy-lift cart, tripling load capacity to over 500 lbs while eliminating tipping and deflection issues through implementation of LM rail carriages, lead-screw drive, and counterweight system
Conducted measurement-based structural analysis and hand calculations to validate stiffness and safety improvements before fabrication and assembly
Redesigned high vacuum chamber panel for improved internal maintenance access and retrofittable reuse of existing components, reducing fabrication costs; created GD&T-compliant drawings in SolidWorks
Coordinated with third-party machine shops and contract manufacturers for prototyping and fabrication
July - December 2025
E Ink - Billerica, MA
Mechanical Engineering Co-op
Designed, prototyped, and assembled demonstration products for clients exploring novel applications of E-Paper technology in automotive, furniture, and consumer electronics
Led client-facing project from concept through design and fabrication, with final product displayed at NRF 2025
Designed and 3D printed custom fixtures and mechanisms for internal R&D teams to streamline laboratory processes
Modified housing designs and reprogrammed over 50 Raspberry Pi controllers to meet specific client requirements
Created custom E Ink display prototypes for Ingenico credit card readers using AutoCAD layer design, laser cutting, and industrial lamination techniques
